Shoes, Shoes, Shoes ~ Or No Shoes ~ Whats Your Shoe Fashion?

I have more shoes than I know what to do with, I don't even know why I bought most of them.   Some of them I have only worn once and they weren't comfortable so I will probably never wear them again.   I bought them because they match a dress or an outfit I have.

If  I buy a pair of shoes and they hurt my feet, I'm done with them.  I either give them away or put them in my closet in hopes they worn't hurt the next time I wear them

Three Generations Of Feet!

When on the beach, I don't want shoes of any kind on.  Not only does the sand ruin the shoes, but it always rubs sores on my feet if I wear shoes.

No matter how I try to keep the sand out of my shoes, it always finds a way in.
Sneakers are my favorite shoe.   I wear them mostly because they are more comfortable than any other shoe I own.

My Grandkids wear flip flops most of the year.   I remember one of the girls tried to wear them to school in the middle of winter with snow on the ground.  Ain't gonna happen!

Then there are the fashion shoes.  I am not sure how you ladies wear these, my feet would hurt for a week.

Don't get me wrong, I think these shoes are adoreable, but OH MY ACHING FEET.
I was watching the Real Housewives last night and one of ladies had on shoes like the ones above.  She fell with them on and sprained her ankel.   I think I seen the same thing happen on another show, so these shoes seem pretty dangerous to me.

For going out, I prefer something a lot easier on the old feet, but Kudos to those of you who can wear these.

Tropical Traditions is America’s source for coconut oil. Their Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil is hand crafted in small batches by family producers, and it is the highest quality coconut oil they offer. I Go Crazy For Purses And Bags ~ Check Out My New Favorite

I go crazy when it comes to bags and purses. I can't help it, I LOVE THEM and you should see the one I just got from Mama Mahoney Creations. It’s my new favorite!

Now my mother would tell you that I have more bags and purses than I know what to do with, but really now bags are like shoes…“Can you ever have too many?”! If I keep it up I’ll have to turn that spare bedroom into a giant closet. I know, I know, sounds like an awesome idea to me too!!!

If you are looking for a really cute bag, purse, clutch, etc. then you have got to check out Mama Mahoney Creations. She has so many cute pre-made items to chose from or she works with you to help you find a fabric you just love. I do realize there are many, many places on the internet to buy bags, but Janice is the best. She makes picking a fabric super easy, just fill out a quick survey asking about your favorite colors, color of your favorite coat, jeans or dressy clothes and if you consider yourself to be casual and fun, girly and flirty or sophisticated and sleek. Then pick the type of bag you want and she does the rest. How great is that? And she’s fast, seems like I had my bag in no time!

And here it is…It’s called My Own tote but there’s a ton of room in this thing. Cute coordinating fabric on the inside and two nice sized pockets on the outside.

Oh how I love it!! But I will probably never get to use it again because my darling 20 year old daughter has taken it. She loves it too!! Swiped it, right off the dining room table within hours of delivery. Why is it that as mom’s we have nothing that is off limits to our daughters?

So how about you? Do you have a lot of bags or purses?     If not you should, and you should start by ordering your newest one from Mama Mahoney Creations!!

*I won this bag in a giveaway and loved it so much that I decided to do a review of it. . In no way did this affect my review. All opinions are my own.

Would Cinderella Wear This?

When I was younger, I used to think these utility poles looked like a Cinderella Dress

I used to have a book of Cinderella and in the book little bluebirds picked up the dress and flew it to Cinderella and put it on her.    For some reason these always remind me of that.

What do you think, Does this dress resemble the above picture?

Visiting Dash In Soho New York City

Have any of you visited DASH?  It is a Ladies Clothing Store Owned by Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe (Odem) Kardashian.

Personally, I was very disappointed.  I thought that somehow this store would be very chic.  Not so.  There was hardly anything in the little shop and the shop is only the size of a small room.  Well, it might be a little bigger than a small room, but not much.

I wonder if the Kardashian girls know there isn't much to shop for.  I don't think they get to New York often to check it out.

Maybe it was just me, but jeeze... I like to see some clothing when I shop.  It just gave me the feeling of a used clothing store.   It really needs someone that can arrange the clothing to look appealing instead of consignment shop.

I tried to get pictures of the inside but they wouldn't let me.  Probably because it is really in need of some TLC.

Make your own facemask ~ Beauty for less!! Feel and look younger.

How many of you use a face mask to make your skin look younger?

I have to admit, I am no spring chick and need all the help I can get.    I do use face masks because I feel they tighten up my skin and make it feel so much softer.

You don't have to spend a fortune to give yourself a facial with a mask.

Make your own Facemask
. Honey is great because most people do not have allergies to it.  It can also be used on all skin types

Oily Skin Types
(Some of these may irritate dry skin types)
. Yogurt Is GREAT if you have oily skin
.  Fruits such as citrus, strawberries, banana, apple cider, rosewater.  These are great for oily skin
.  Pineapple And Papaya are great for unclogging pores
.  Clay Or Mud Mask (This can suck the oil right out of your skin so be careful with this)

Dry Skin Types

.  Coconut Oil is wonderful if you have dry skin
.  Olive Oil
.  Shea Butter
.  Cocoa Butter
.  Almond Oil
.  Jojoba Oil
.  Aloe
. Vitamin E
.  Glycerin
.  Mashed avacados

To Calm Sensitive Skin (I do this after waxing my face)

. Cucumbers
. Ginseng
. Green tea leaves

Decide what kind of skin type you have and pick some of the ingredients.  You may want to mix some from the oily section with the dry to get what you want.

Mix your ingredients until they are gooey or creamy, depending on what you are mixing.

1.  Open up your pores
You can use a very warm towel that you have wet under hot water, or a facial steamer

2.   Put the mask mixture on your face avoiding your eyes.  Just smear it on

3.  Leave the mask on for 15 to 20 minutes

4.  Using warm water, rinse off the facemask

5.  Splash cool water on your face to close the pores

6.  Pat your face dry with a clean towel

This is a really fun thing to do with a bunch of your girlfriends for a Girls Night Out!
